This course gives you the knowledge and skills to plan, supervise, and carry out lifting operations both onshore and offshore. You’ll move from understanding the regulations to practising calculations, equipment use, and safe procedures—so you’re ready to lead with confidence.

• Load computation: sling tension at different angles, centre of gravity, and SWL

• Procedures for heavy and critical (complex) lifts

Equipment knowledge:

• Wire rope construction and characteristics

• Webbing slings, chains, and accessories

• Winches and lifting tackles
